Responsible Use of the Internet and

                            Technology as an IT Student

As a responsible IT student, I will use my knowledge of the Internet and the World Wide Web to find reliable and trustworthy information for my educational blog. I will make sure to search only from credible websites such as those ending in “.edu,” “.gov,” or “.org,” because these are usually from schools, government offices, or organizations that provide accurate data. I will also use proper search techniques, like typing the right keywords, adding quotation marks, and using filters to get the most relevant results. Before I include any information in my article, I will check who wrote it, when it was published, and if it is supported by facts and references.

To make my work professional and ethical, I will always cite my sources properly so that I can give credit to the original authors and avoid plagiarism. I will also use my keyboarding skills to type efficiently and accurately, practicing touch typing so I can finish my work faster without always looking at the keyboard. I will carefully review my article to make sure there are no grammar or spelling mistakes before publishing it online.

While working on my blog, I will also practice good ergonomics to keep myself healthy and comfortable. I will sit with the correct posture, keep my monitor at eye level, and take short breaks to rest my eyes and hands. By following these steps, I can create a well-researched, accurate, and professional blog article that shows responsibility, discipline, and good technical skills as an IT student
